Show Notes

The directors of the Victoria company linked to the Facebook/Cambridge Analytica scandal finally broke their silence on April 24. But Zackary Massingham and Jeff Silvester of AggregateIQ probably wish they stayed home, after the rough ride they endured on Parliament Hill. One-by-one, members of the House of Commons’ Standing Committee on Access to Information, Privacy and Ethics questioned Massingham and Silvester’s credibility and ethics. Members from the Liberals, Conservatives and the NDP suggested Massingham and Silvester were being dishonest. “Something doesn’t smell right, here,” said Conserative chair Bob Zimmer, who represents Prince George-Peace River-Northern Rockies. Listen to highlights of the two-hour hearing on theBreaker.news Podcast. Plus the regular scan of headlines around the Pacific Rim and Pacific Northwest, and commentary on the Toronto van rampage and Interkorean summit.
